The next chapter of defensive linemen Caleb Gutierrez’s academic and football career will be written at St. Norbert’s College.

“I’m most looking forward to that new life of college, and everything that comes with it, especially a new level of football,” noted Caleb.

Not only was St. Norbert’s a college with an appealing football program for Caleb, but it was the coaches and the culture that drove him to ultimately take his next step in his football career there.

“The head coach, Coach McCarty, really made it open to my parents that he’s going to take care of me and all my brothers,” said Caleb.

When the coaches from St. Norbert started to look at Caleb, it wasn’t just his skill that made them interested, but it was also his incredible leadership and character that truly showed them the type of person that Caleb was.

“I feel like I’m going to go up there head up,” said Caleb. “Just ready to work and take whatever challenge comes my way.”
