Melia Seyferth, Staff Writer

My name is Melia Seyferth (she/her). I am a sophomore and a staff writer of the sports section. This is my second year in the Evanstonian; last year, I wrote for the news section. This year, I am excited to be in the sports section and write about sports and get interesting stories from the athletes themselves. I write for The Evanstonian because I enjoy writing, especially about sports, and I learn a great deal about what’s happening in our community. Outside of the Evanstonian, I  am on the field hockey and lacrosse teams. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on walks, and playing field hockey.
