This album was her first record release since 2023’s “My 21st Century Blues”. However, she regained the spotlight in late 2025 with her single “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”, which was released on September 19, and took social media by storm. This song is one of many theatrical tracks included on “THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.” Overall, the album serves as a lush blend of pop, jazz and soul music, making it both a groovy and sophisticated listen.

The song is about supporting your friends and getting them out of the house to cheer them up. RAYE reflected that “Click Clack” and the rhythmic beat in the background reflect high heels, as well as praising her work with Zimmer. Zimmer, being one of the most influential film composers, brings his usual engrossing and exciting touch to the song, heightening the overall listening experience of the album with this cinematic track. The chorus makes you want to tap your foot and nod your head with its catchy repetition.
