Chucky – Tyler’s argument
Chucky’s certainly got his work cut out for him, but this battle is not as clear-cut as it might seem. Chucky’s psycho-serial-killer tenacity easily outweighs Annabelle’s trauma-driven motivation. And in order for Annabelle to use any of her powers on him, she must catch him first, a task made difficult by Chucky’s superior intellect, tiny size, and speed.
Chucky’s Strengths:
- Very fast
- Very smart
- Hard to kill
- Psychotic tenacity
- Can transfer soul to a human
Annabelle – Avery’s argument
Annabelle would beat Chucky because of the persistence of the demon that possesses her. She won’t give up until she gets what she wants – a soul. Even after a soul is given and the task is completed, the cycle of terror continues, as she keeps taking souls and instigating murder in other families.
Annabelle’s Strengths:
- Demon that can take on many forms
- Cycle of trauma and murder is never broken
- Can levitate/make things levitate
- Drive people to murder
- Cause calculated chaos
Frankenstein – Tyler’s Argument
Frankenstein’s victory over Dracula is easily determined by just a couple of factors. A: Frankenstein has all day and all night to prepare against Dracula. B: While Dracula will be a difficult catch, once Frankenstein has him in his grasp, the battle is about over. If it was a battle of sheer strength, Frankenstein would win Every. Single. Time. C: Dracula’s two main powers, mind-control and transforming a victim, are useless against Frankenstein. Don’t forget that Frankenstein is pieced together. Meaning his brain and blood are not his own, making him immune to both powers.
Frankenstein’s Strengths:
- Big
- Super crazy strong
- No blood
- Very difficult to kill
Dracula – Avery’s Argument
Asleep during the day, awake during the night, Dracula harbors many powers and skills that make him an infamous and powerful villain. His ways of traversing the dark with his long and iconic cape allow him to murder in the dark, making him hard to catch. He can hypnotize people into making his wish their command while doing the same to bats. His top-tier spying techniques allow him to get what he wants, no matter who may stand in his way.
Dracula’s Strengths:
- Can fly
- Turns into a bat
- Turns others into vampires (Builds himself an army)
- Can kill with his teeth
- Controls people’s minds
- Immortal
Casper – Tyler’s Argument
Casper would turn Slimer inside out. Casper not only has the advantages of speed, power, intellect, and sheer charm, but most importantly, isn’t burdened by the confines of a material body. While Slimer is dribbling his goo down the hallway, Casper can transform his shape and size into anything imaginable and pass through wires and walls with ease. On top of all that, Slimer is a big eater, and as Casper is the chef and housekeeper of the mansion he’s in, I’m sure he could cook up a meal that would take Slimer out.
Casper’s Strengths:
- Can stretch and morph to any shape or size
- Can fly
- Can pass through walls
- Can interact with physical objects and people
- Can travel through telephone poles
Slimer – Avery’s Argument
Slimer would beat Casper because Slimer has more powers than Casper does, including the ability to shoot slime from his mouth. He doesn’t let anyone get in his way of eating all the food he can fill himself with, and escapes any effort of trapping or containing the ghost. Casper only really knows how to make stuff, which Slimer could easily avoid and traverse.
Slimer’s Strengths:
- Same properties as a ghost
- Hard to catch
- Fast
- Persistant
Freddy Kruger – Tyler’s Argument
Freddy Krueger’s so good at killing, he could do it in his sleep…literally. Sure, Pennywise can change his shape in the awake world, while Krueger has complete and total control not only of his shape, but of the environment, characters, and time in the dream world. Also, while Pennywise takes 27 year breaks, Krueger has been up and terrifying for 23 years straight. And he keeps coming back. Additionally, during this Pennywise hibernation, Krueger can infiltrate the clown’s unconscious mind and take him out without a fight at all
Freddy Krueger’s Strengths:
- Can infiltrate people’s dreams
- Has complete control over the environment, his shape and size, and time in the dream world
- Always comes back, even after being killed or defeated
- Resistant to any physical damage within the dream world
Pennywise – Avery’s Argument
Pennywise the Clown would beat Freddy Kruger because of his recurrence every 27 years despite desperate attempts at taking him down. Pennywise manipulates people’s fear to turn friends against each other, breaking their bond and therefore allowing the clown to kidnap and kill innocent people. Even though Krueger can go into people’s dreams, Pennywise can terrorize people both outside and inside their minds.
Pennywise’s strengths:
- Keeps coming back
- Terrorize anyone who is afraid of it
- Use people’s fears to put them against each other
- Change form
- Lure kids into sewers/haunted places
Round 1:
Chucky/Annabelle: While Chucky’s speed and tenacity works in his favor, Chucky simply just cannot stand up against Annabelle’s persistent and indestructible demonic powers.
Dracula/Frankenstein: Dracula’s sinister slight and slinky speed lead him to a swift victory against Frankenstein’s brutish bashing and brainless brawn.
Casper/Slimer: Casper cooks, Slimer eats. These two are just too much of a perfect pair to reach a clear victory. Casper and Slimer form an alliance to fight future battles together.
Freddy Krueger/Pennywise: When he’s awake, Pennywise’s terror is unmatched, but the 27 year hibernation he takes is easy ground for Krueger’s dominant attack in which he sneaks into people’s dreams and murders them from the inside out.
Round 2:
Annabelle/Dracula: Dracula’s powers are largely dependent on blood-fueled creatures; being a doll, this renders Annabelle immune to Dracula’s control and lets her unleash hell
Casper+Slimer/Freddy Krueger: Fun fact: both Casper and Slimer do sleep! And in a dream world where he is god, Krueger automatically wipes anyone who has the audacity to dream
Round 3:
Annabelle/Freddy Krueger: Outside of the dream landscape he’s made for himself, Krueger loses virtually all power, leaving a sleepless doll like Annabelle able to attack Krueger at his most vulnerable. She’s able to easily take him out without even using full power, as he’s just an average guy out of the dream world.
