About the Contributors
Ethan Ravi, News Editor
Hi! My name is Ethan Ravi (he/him). I’m a junior, and this year I’m the News Editor, as well as the Resident Food Critic. This is my third year on staff, previously I was the Assistant News Editor (sophomore year), and a staff writer (freshman year). I love writing for the Evanstonian because I get to work with our wonderful staff to tell important Evanston stories. Outside of the paper, I play tennis for the ETHS team, work at a local tennis shop, compete on the Math Team and participate in peer tutoring. In my free time, I enjoy reading, seeing friends and family, playing the piano and drinking coffee.
Isaac Suarez Flint, In Depth & Digital Content editor
Jilian Denlow, Executive Editor
Hi! My name is Jilian Denlow (she/her). I am a senior and one of the Executive Editors, overseeing Feature & Sports. As a freshman, I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the community. My utmost priority is to make others feel like they belong in this space. In my role, I hope to depict a more inclusive, whole and authentic snapshot of the community at-large. Outside of the Evanstonian, I play soccer for ETHS and a local club team. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and going to the beach.
Clara Gustafson, Executive Editor
Sophia Sherman, Executive Editor
Hi! My name is Sophia Sherman (she/her), I am a senior, and this is my fourth (and final) year on staff for the Evanstonian. I am the Executive Editor of In-Depth, Opinion, and Digital Content, and I have previously been the Opinion Editor, Assistant Sports Editor, and a Staff Writer. Being a part of the Evanstonian’s welcoming community has allowed me to improve my leadership and communication skills, while also providing me with an outlet to publish articles on topics I am passionate about. Outside of The Evanstonian, I am involved with a few other student organizations, I work part-time at Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.), and I play the drums and piano.
