Your donation will support the student journalists of the Evanstonian. We are planning a big trip to the Journalism Educators Association conference in Boston in November 2022, and any support will go towards making that trip a reality. About the Contributors
Ethan Ravi, Assistant News Editor
Hi! My name is Ethan Ravi (he/him). I’m a junior, and this year I’m the News Editor. This is my third year on staff, previously I was the Assistant News Editor (sophomore year), and a staff writer (freshman year). I love writing for the Evanstonian because I get to work with our wonderful staff to tell important Evanston stories. Outside of the paper, I play tennis for the ETHS team, work at a local tennis shop, compete on the Math Team and participate in peer tutoring. In my free time, I enjoy reading, seeing friends and family, playing the piano and drinking coffee.
Isaac Suarez Flint, Staff Writer
Sam Froum, Assistant A&E Editor
Hi, I’m Sam Froum (he/him). I am a sophomore, and the Assistant Editor for A&E. This is my second year on staff, last year I was a staff writer. I write for the Evanstonian because it enables me to become a better writer as well as to help make something that the whole school can see. In addition to the Evanstonian, I run cross country and track and am a part of the Community Service Club. In my free time I like to draw, read, and watch TV.
Mack Jones, Staff Writer
Hi! My name is Mack Jones (he/him). I am a Staff Writer for the News section in my sophomore year at ETHS. I write for the Evanstonian because I love writing and I love seeing the perspectives of different individuals, and journalism does a great job of combining both! I’m looking forward to meeting new people through interviews and building lasting friendships with peers. Outside of the Evanstonian, I’m on the ETHS Boys Tennis Team, play guitar and piano, and volunteer for AYSO as a referee. For fun, I like to read, listen to music, and sleep.
