Wildkit Futures Day on Oct. 19 will be used for post secondary planning for all grades.

Freshmen, sophomores and juniors should be at the school by 8 a.m. and seniors by 9 a.m. for their activities.

Oct. 19 is the day schools give the PSAT, so the day is planned around the juniors who are testing. Every grade level will be engaged in an activity designed to prepare them for after high school.

Freshmen will attend an assembly and hear a presentation by Calvin Terrell, a speaker who addresses topics like bullying, diversity and gender. Terrell speaks to every freshman class about life and how to be a better person.

Sophomores will have picture day and will be taking Naviance tests to determine possible career fields.

Juniors will be taking the PSAT, a practice test for the SAT in April.

Seniors will be in college planning workshops, ranging from financial aid to college apps and essays.
