Nina Gatchell

Nina Gatchell, Staff Writer

My name is Nina Gatchell, I am a sophomore in high school, my pronouns are she/her, I am a writer for the Evanstonian sports section, and this is my first year. I chose to write for the Evanstonian because I like educating people on certain topics and bringing awareness to them. I think the Evanstonian is a great way to get into writing, even if you don’t think writing is for you. Outside of the Evanstonian, I am a competitive swimmer for both ETHS and my club team. I am a lifeguard and swim teacher, so a lot of my life revolves around water. Aside from that, I love drawing, cooking, crafting, and traveling. For fun, I enjoy starting new TV series, hanging out with my friends, and trying new food.
