Modeling minds

AP Ceramics students spend the year diving into an inquiry of their choice. At the end, they submit their finished pieces to the college board in the form of their AP test and await scoring. One of these students, Senior Rossellia Orduno, based her inquiry on how love can change objects.

“My inquiry is about how love can create changes in objects. I chose this because it is something that is so evident in everything around us,” Orduno said. “[In my piece], the boots are the same but one of them is perfectly straight and newer looking compared to the other. The overworn shoe has creases, scratches, stains, and slouching to show that love created a negative change in something good.”

We are planning a big trip to the Journalism Educators Association conference in Philadelphia in November 2023, and any support will go towards making that trip a reality. Contributions will appear as a charge from SNOSite. Donations are NOT tax-deductible.
