Kayla Drajpuch

Kayla Drajpuch, Staff Writer

My name is Kayla Drajpuch (she/her/hers), I’m a junior, and I am a staff writer for the Arts and Entertainment section of The Evanstonian. I have been on staff for three years. I love writing for A&E because it gives me an outlet for all of my opinions on books, movies, and television (of which I consume copious amounts). In my free time, I run cross country and do congressional debate. Outside of school, you can find me listening to Courtney Barnett, reading, and hanging out with my friends. (Very occasionally, though. Introverts unite!)

Quiet misogyny in ‘Hamilton’

A call for conscience: the layers of sexism at ETHS

A call for conscience: the layers of sexism at ETHS

Whether it is whispers in the halls, outright sexist comments in the classroom or an objectionable view of women and their role in the world—sexism is very much alive and well in schools, including ETHS.
