My name is Chloe Haack and I am a sophomore staff writer, primarily for the Sports section. I take part in many extracurricular activities including community service, club softball, as well as The Evanstonian. I, currently, play for the Chicago Cheetahs Premier 16u team where I play middle infield and center field. I love to write about sports as I am very passionate about softball and hope to eventually play in college. Writing, as a whole, has certainly impacted my life, both in school and out. In 2017, I was awarded Scholastic Writing Awards’ Silver Key for a personal memoir I wrote. I hope to bring a new and unique voice to The Evanstonian’s Sports section.
