The Evanstonian

Sophia Weglarz
Sophia Weglarz is a junior in high school this year. She finds a place on the opinion section of The Evanstonian as an assistant editor. When she is not expressing her strong opinions or investigating her beat, she enjoys writing, reading, collaging or volunteering within her community. She finds interests in racial inequality, economic disparity and other interlocking systems of oppression. Journalism is a strong passion of hers, and she hopes to pursue magazine journalism in the near future.
