The Evanstonian

Hailey Fine
My name is Hailey Fine. I’m a junior and staff writer for the Evanstonian. For my first year on the publication as a sophomore, I wrote for the feature section. Now I write for the sports section which is better suited for me. I’ve covered stories about clubs, important student leaders, sports teams and events held at our high school. Outside of the Evanstonian, I play lacrosse, work as a host at Boltwood, and babysit regularly. Through the Evanstonian, I have been able to expand my knowledge about the school including students and staff in it. I’ve also been able to strengthen my writing and communication skills. Although I write for the sports section, I enjoy contributing to all parts of the publication. Every article I write is one step further in a learning process for me and I look forward to spending another year on the Evanstonian and taking what I’ve learned with me to college.
